Edit: March 24th,2023. I've felt that I should edit this review due 2 the length of time since my original review. Reviews r extremely important in my opinion, I personally do not even attempt shopping at any location without checking its reviews before hand. Currently, I've got 2 say I've honestly appreciated&liked this store even more as the time has gone on. Due to the environment in Long Beach & my constant safety concerns of this neighborhood I feel extremely appreciative having this store within walking distance. There has never been any sketchy ppl just loitering in front of the store unlike the discount store up on 7th st,i will not even go to that store due 2 that being such a huge issue. ANYTIME I go into this location I'm able to do so with was of mind and no hassles. THAT'S HUGE 4 ME PERSONALLY. (My original review is listed below with more details) 👍👌🤙🤗‼️ 💯% 5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s..❗️❗️ I recently moved and since moving I've had to find new stores that are near my place that way I do not have to drive in fear of not finding a decent parking spot on my return from whichever store I've had to go to.. PARKING in LB is horrific so finding places that are walkable is a number #1 priority FOR SURE.. Which brings me to this store in particular.. And.. I'm totally happy that this store is within walking distance to my home because it has a ton of things.. The everyday important things that I may need on a whim, this store has it, even to the random misc items I may need, this store seems to have most.. I'm really happy with both the merchandise as well as the awesome customer service I've received EACH TIME I'VE DONE SHOPPING THERE.. They are always friendly and extremely helpful which makes the experience that much more pleasant. I DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE TOO ANYONE WHO MAY NEED PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING.. Their selection is pretty vast so I'm pretty confident in saying they should have what ever it is that u may be looking for... Just ask they will be very helpful an

I live 2 min by bike. I just went in to buy some water. Their water filtration system machine itself looks new. It is clean and fresh without dust and cracks. Its definitely not like the water dispensers you see outside of stores that honestly scare me, this one is indoors. It has several stages of filtration before it gets to your 1 to 5 gallon ok im still backing my post about the water. Its just five there is nothing about that water I do not like. I've been filling up there since covid began and home depot jag no water until lately. But I was in there yesterday to see if they had pllumbers tape. They do. I was not surprised but. That store is so organized. Ever shelf is jammed packed with so so much more than they've ever had before. I think its admirable to push your limits. I've been living on off Cherry and 4th for 2 yrs I've stopping in now and again for a typical 99 or dollars store item. But that day I went for the plumbers tape I was blown array my next stop was going to be ace who like would charge 10 times for an item I barely needed but had to buy for whatever. I left with a bucket full. If to have not been in in. While go on now. Anyhow just saying ..I think its important to review small shops in our neighborhood. Supporting each other wil go a long way. Anyhow the folks that run it are super nice. If your heading any direction to go buy a supply you could likely get the you should give it try .

It is a friendly and convenient store. The owners treat me great and make me feel important to them as a customer. I will continue to go there. Still shopping at Long Beach Discount still satisfied and I still recommend to anyone Children to Adults😁 …

As for myself and neighbors, we absolutely love this place, not only because it's a nice healthy walk for us, quickly from down Ocean Blvd. But, also, because the variety of items are nicely priced. 🤙🤙🤙 And, the store staff are very kind and friendly (professionally). Always recommended to all my family and friends.

The workers are very kind and it’s a great discount store for everyday stuff like extension cords, tools, pet food, school supplies, kitchen appliances, detergent, soap, etc. and even some groceries like cheese, eggs, chorizo, and tortillas.

This Place Is My Go To!! (And i mean Daily M-F) not only is it hella close to my work, like hella hella close!! But the people that work their are pretty darn chill!! Always polite to me greeting me when i walk in and wishing me a good day when im walking out!! They have a bit of everything that we all need even stuff you didn't know you needed till u find yourself walking out with a few bags full and thinking (did i really need all this?!) (raises hand and covers face<~~yup thats me) they have tobacco to birthday banners and even rodent traps haha...hopefully your not needing any of those but hey they do have them...im always a happy customer whenever i go to this store, I've even had to wait in line but it moved very fast and it didn't seem like forever..no as for the transient's outside of the store well ive seen (if im not mistaken) but the owner isn't at all shy on asking them to leave and if they get rowdy he refuses to serve them and again asks then to leave! That kind of comes with the area (board and cares, and convalescent homes fairly close by) but thats for another review!! Overall this place is great for me specially when im in need of a snack because i left my lunch at home haha (one to many times) but check this place out you might just be surprised.

HUGE store with all kinds of items including grocery, party supplies, organization baskets, hardware, household goods, clothing, make up, pet supplies, and so much more. It’s much bigger than it looks and the prices are cheap!
